Like Sasquatch, the hills of Southeast Ohio are where Corey was born and raised. After attending Otterbein University, Corey worked in commercial construction and real estate development until a move to Santa Barbara California exposed him to the wine industry, leading to a career change.

Since 2010, his wine business experience has included the roles of retail buyer, wholesale sales representative, and distributor portfolio manager (imports). He joined Wine Trends in 2017. Corey is nimbler than ever, since the Beaujolais campaign of 2019 caused his appendix to rupture before it was removed. When he’s not daydreaming of carbonic maceration, Corey enjoys spending time at the lake with his daughter, Reagan, cooking epic meals with his brother and golfing.
